By accessing, browsing, or submitting an application through the Adichunchanagiri University Admissions Portal ("Portal"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use this Portal.
2. Purpose of the Portal
This Portal is operated by Adichunchanagiri University ("ACU", "University") solely for the purpose of collecting admission enquiries and pre-registration applications for the academic year 2026–27. Submission of an application through this Portal constitutes an expression of interest and does not guarantee admission to any program or college.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years of age to use this Portal independently. Applicants below 16 must have a parent or guardian submit the application on their behalf.
- You must provide accurate and truthful information. Submission of false, misleading, or fraudulent information may result in immediate disqualification and reporting to appropriate authorities.
4. Application Submission
- Each application is assigned a unique reference number (e.g., ACU-BGSIT-2026-00001) for tracking purposes.
- Submission of an application does not create a binding contract between you and the University.
- The University reserves the right to contact you via phone, email, or SMS regarding your application, admission process, counselling schedules, and related academic information.
- Multiple submissions from the same individual with identical details may be treated as duplicates and consolidated.
5. Accuracy of Information
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information submitted through this Portal.
- The University reserves the right to verify any information provided and to reject applications found to contain false or misleading data.
- Any admission granted based on inaccurate information is subject to cancellation at any stage.
6. Data Collection & Privacy
Your use of this Portal is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes in detail the information we collect (including technical, device, and location data), how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data. By using this Portal, you consent to such data collection as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
- All content on this Portal — including text, graphics, logos, design, code, and images — is the property of Adichunchanagiri University or its licensors and is protected under applicable Indian copyright and intellectual property laws.

- Impersonate another person or submit an application on someone's behalf without their consent
9. Limitation of Liability
- This Portal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The University makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Portal's availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
- The University shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use this Portal.
- The University is not responsible for any loss of data due to technical failures, server outages, or force majeure events.
- Email delivery (confirmation and notifications) is dependent on third-party services and is not guaranteed.
10. Service Provider Indemnification
This Portal is developed and maintained by authorised technology service providers on behalf of the University. By using this Portal:
- You acknowledge that the technology service provider acts solely as a processor of data on behalf of the University (the data controller).
- The technology service provider shall not be held liable for decisions made by the University regarding admissions, communications, or data handling beyond the scope of their technical mandate.
- Any claims, disputes, or grievances related to admissions decisions shall be directed exclusively to the University.
- The technology service provider is indemnified against any claims arising from the University's use of data collected through this Portal.
11. University's Rights
The University reserves the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue this Portal at any time without prior notice
- Reject or disqualify any application at its sole discretion
- Change admission criteria, available programs, or intake capacity without notice
- Update these Terms at any time — continued use constitutes acceptance
- Block or restrict access to users who violate these Terms
12. Disclaimer
- Program availability, intake capacity, and eligibility criteria displayed on this Portal are indicative and subject to change based on regulatory approvals (UGC, AICTE, RGUHS, etc.).
- Fee structures, scholarship availability, and placement statistics referenced on this Portal are based on historical data and do not constitute a guarantee.
- This Portal is not the official admission process. The University may require additional documentation, entrance exams, or counselling sessions as part of the formal admission process.
13. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through amicable negotiation.
- If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Mandya, Karnataka.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India.
- The courts of Mandya, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
